Because why not?

Project Pan 2016 - Round 4 | Finale

4 December 2016

It is finally time to wrap up my Project Pan for 2016!

Starting with the stuff I finished off..

Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer Sampler: the shade Light Medium was a perfect match for me but I was also able to mix the darker and lightest shade to create a good fit, the consistency is similar to Benefit Erase Paste or It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye, not likely something I would purchase because the consistency is a little too thick and sticky, typically I would bake a concealer like this and it's a technique I try to avoid since my eyes easily show signs of ageing. Certainly not a bad product and one I would recommend to people who don't have issues with lines around their eyes.

Avon Lipstick Samples in Pout, 24K Pink, Carnation & Juicy Apricot: 24K Pink is the only shade I didn't love out of these 4.

Burberry Fresh Glow: Illuminising primer, not exciting.

Vella Flower Flower BB Cream: Heavy on the skin and low coverage, didn't enjoy.

Revlon Colourstay Lip Liner in Raisin: Nice lip liner but they are on the pricier side, I'd pick up more of these at a Priceline 40% off sale.

Mac Eye Khol in Ola Viola: These have a great creamy texture and hold on to eyeshadow like a boss, would consider different shades in the future but wouldn't repurchase Ola Viola.

Moving on to things I didn't quite finish.. My Hugo Boss Woman Perfume is putting up a fight but I made consistent progress so I'll set this aside for a little while and come back to it in 2017.

I have consistent progress on my Billion Dollar Brow Pencil as well, I'm going to keep going with this through December and put it straight in to my 2017 Project Pan in January.

As for my Gorgeous Cosmetics Lip Liner in Strawberry, so close, so damn close. I'm going to set this aside, play with my liner stash and decide what I want to tackle in 2017.

And Finally, Benefit Hoola, I hit pan! I'm so close! I'm going to keep going with this through December because I love it.

I sorted through my makeup samples and picked a bunch to throw out, 22 to be exact, I'm not interested in trying them so they can find a new home in the bin.
Finally I have the makeup samples I'm happily using or keen to try, the bulk is lip products and mascara so I expect to be tackling these well in to 2017.
So that's it for another year of panning, I'm going to take December to just enjoy my collection and get my head around what I want to pan in the new year! If you know of any panning 'methods' that allow you to pan while not neglecting the rest of your stash I'm open to suggestions!
