Because why not?

Look Fantastic Beauty Box - January 2016

27 January 2016
I've been really enjoying the Look Fantastic Beauty Boxes, I forgot how nice it is to have a parcel arrive at your door every month full of mystery goodies.

This months box was a flop and a win.

When I took my box out of the parcel packaging a little card fell out, this caught my attention instantly because I've never seen a loose card outside of the box before. On inspection I found I had won a Cloud Nine Touch Iron, Look Fantastic give away a number of large prizes each month to random box purchasers, this month I was one of the lucky recipients. Too bad they are out of stock, lucky my coupon is valid until the end of March, here's to hoping that they restock soon.

The rest of the box is a bit meh for me this month..

Nuxe Nuxellence Detox - I can only assume this is kind of like a serum, it says it can be used alone or under your night cream and is supposed boost skin purification and cell renewal so it probably has retinol or something similar in it, I dunno, I haven't checked the ingredients.. After a month of using samples it's all much the same to me and I don't care all that much. I will say it's a nice sized sample and I'll certainly try it out but I'm not climbing the walls with excitement.

Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo - I only use clarifying shampoo a few times a year, it can be really rough on the hair and since my hair is fucked, to be frank, I try to be careful when it comes to products like this. With that said, my hair does get product build up though so I'll pop this in my shower and give it a whirl, it'll probably take me the whole year to use up though.

Kebelo Silk Conditioner - This claims to be good for all hair types and if I've learnt just one thing in the years of being a bleached blonde is that when a brand says it's good for all hair types it's actually only good for some hair types, usually not mine. I'll give it a go but I won't be packing it in my travel bag in place of something that I already know is reliable.

Bellapierre Shimmer Shadow in Earth - Bellapierre products feel so cheap but the colour of this was looking promising until I opened the cap and found that the protective seal looked like it had been opened. I'm not sure if it's just a packaging issue or it's actually been opened by a person with grubby fingers but I'm not going to risk it. Since I don't care too much for the brand or the fact that it's a loose pigment I'm just going to toss this and not cry a river over it.

Darphin Azahar Cleansing Micellar Water - Yaaaaaas, ok now we are talking! I love micellar lotions and Darphin is a lovely brand so I'm very keen to try this out, being such a decent size I'll likely take this away with me next month so I'm fully covered for makeup remover.

Lancer The Method: Polish - Exfoliator, always on the lookout for the perfect face scrub so I'll give this a whirl and see how I like it!

While this box isn't particularly mind blowing for me I feel like I can never complain too much because of the lack of foil packets and stingy samples!
