Because why not?

Project Pan 2015 - Update #8

8 November 2015
I feel like one of the most satisfying things I have done this year is my Project Pan. I think the combination of having full control over it while also actually finishing makeup items gives me a major sense of achievement and that is a seriously satisfying thing for me.

Ok, on to the finished stuffs

True All Day Moisture Tinted Cream - I think this was starting to turn, It would break down on my face really quickly and oxidised severely, happy to see it done.

Clinique Even Better Makeup - This stuff is gorgeous, if you have dry or normal skin and like a dewy finish (dry skin ladies will end up with a natural finish) then this is the stuff for you, it has medium coverage, is comfortable to wear and makes the skin look brilliant. Buy it.

Avon Island Vibe EDT - Really nice fruity, fresh floral with a zesty hint. Not particularly long lasting but easy to wear.

Maybelline Moisture Extreme in Petal - I adore this colour, I'm definitely going on a hunt to find a dupe.

Innoxa Lovely Lips in Passionflower - This has seriously intense pigmentation, more than I can handle. I don't miss finding this stuff on my teeth twenty times a day.

Clinique Eyeshadow in Desert Sun - Gorgeous shimmery cream colour, I really like the quality of Clinique shadows.

Avon Lipstick in Skin - Loved this colour, a nice blushed nude. I was surprised by the quality of these lipsticks and would definitely consider repurchasing in the future.

Illamasqua Loose Powder - So, so close, I used this everyday in October and then a hell of a lot on Halloween for setting makeup, since this is one of my older powders I'm glad to be well on the road to saying Ta Ta!

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - The primers are slow going, I'm trying to use both throughout the month so neither get any major progress. I think I'm over this Laura Mercier one, it just doesn't really do anything for me.

Dermalogica Age Smart Primer - Again not a heap of progress, I'm also kinda not keen on the fact that this is silicone based, my skin just doesn't seem to respond well to it and the oil on my face breaks it down in just a few hours, it's a shame because this is otherwise a fantastic primer, normal or dry skin ladies should check it out.

YSL Touche Eclat - Used it maybe once, really need to remember to use this as a highlight under my powder highlight because I like to highlight with highlighter. Highlight? HIGHLIIIIIGHT!!!

Biotherm Glossy Shine in #30 - I actually used this a bit! I probably applied it regularly throughout the day for the first week and then here and there for the rest of the month, sure I can finish it off quite quickly if I stick with it.

Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner - I'm pretty happy with how this is going, I think if I continue to use it regularly I could possibly hit pan by the end of the year.

Benefit Erase Paste - Not only did I hit pan on this, I almost finished it! No doubt this will be gone by the next update. BAM!

Unknown Perfume - Don't like it on my body so using it as a room spray, I don't use it everyday but when I remember I spray a few pumps around and have managed to get about half way through what was in the bottle.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in #10 Fierce & Tangy - Hate it. Gaaahhh.

Clinique Duo in No Show Taupes - I have worked a dip in to the shadow but I'm still far from hitting pan, it's an easy colour to work in to most looks so I try to use it every day, I'd like to be super close to pan by the next update.

Camouflage Colour Liner - Not really a colour I'm keen on wearing at this time of year but I just make it work, would really like to finish this up by the end of November so it's out of the way.

Gorgeous Cosmetics Brow Pencil in Nouveaux - Turns out when you use this every single day it's easy to power through, this will certainly be done by the next update.

Gorgeous Cosmetics Lip Liner in Christine - Slow going, not really feeling lip liners at the moment but I try to convince myself that I want to wear it.

Z Palette Shadows & Powders - The dip in Hoola seems to have disappeared, that's annoying. The Sugar Baby Highlight/Blush/Thing had zero attention.

The pink Benefit shadow is clearly where I was concentrating in October, I used it as a lid colour and a face highlight, I also managed to hit pan on the dark brown Benefit shadow and work a little more pan on the shimmery sand coloured Sugar Baby shadow.

Goals are to finish the Pink Benefit shadow, work more pan on the brown-y taupe shadow in the left corner and finally decide if I'm going to even keep bothering with the sand coloured Sugar Baby shadow which I feel has been a flop of a thing from day one.

Since most of my lip colours were finished in October I decided to add a few more from my list of makeup to finish in 2015, I know I won't finish all of these but having them in my Project Pan will encourage me to use them.

Top Row: Avon samples in Nude Beige, Pink Berry, Rosy Brown & Suede. (Some of these are showing a little use from their original marks, I used some a few times after filming but before taking the photos).

Bottom Row: Rimmel Lasting Finish in 012 Guest List, Josie Maran Argan Love Your Lips in Happy Honey & Estee Lauder Pure Colour Lipstick in 18 Bois De Rose. These have all been marked on paper for usage reference.

So there you have it guys, another month down and only two more to go! I have been thinking about what I want to do in 2016 as far as panning goes and I know I will definitely continue doing it in the new year but I think I will try out short burst projects instead, I'd like to see how that differs to doing a year long project and I also hope it will allow me to play with my other stuff without neglecting items I'm desperately trying to make progress on.
