Because why not?

My Chemist/Chemist Warehouse Beauty Box September/October 2015

2 October 2015
It was brought to my attention last night that there was a new beauty goody box available, I was hearing that it was available at Chemist Warehouse but I could find no info on it so I spread my search wings a little further and discovered My Chemist had released a Beauty Box just a couple of days ago. So off I went and here it is!

Update: The box is indeed available at Chemist Warehouse & My Chemist and I believe the promotion is only available in store.

The deets: The box is free with any purchase of $50 or more on cosmetics from the brands Rimmel, Revlon and Maybelline, check with your store because they might be more relaxed about what you buy though! The contents of the box is valued at $100 and the promotion ends on the 18th of October or until stocks last.

Neutrogena Cosmetic Bag - On further research I found that this is the only item that may vary in the bag, there is a possibility that you'll end up with a different colour. The bag feels lovely and soft and looks like it will hold quite a bit of stuff.

$5 off Coupon - $5 off your next fragrance purchase of $50 or more at My Chemist or Chemist Warehouse, valid from 1/10/15 to 24/12/15.

Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo & Conditioner - These are the smaller 200ml bottles.

L'Oreal Hair Expertise Ultra-Rich Precious Oil Mist - Smells a bit like tanning oils, quite happy to have this because hair oils are my go-to for daily moisturising to keep my lengths and ends soft and prevent breakage.

Shwarzkopf Styliste Ultime Amino-Q Hold Hair Spray - Handy to have, will hang on to this one.

Shwarzkopf Styliste Ultime Sea Salt Texture Spray - Smells like the Omega Repair range, do not want! Will pass on to a friend.

Ego QV Face Gentle Foaming Cleanser - Loving foam cleansers at the moment so will give this a go.

Garnier Miracle Skin Cream Anti-Aging Skin Transformer Day - This is one of those colour adjusting face creams, I usually find these to be pretty crap but I think I now have two of these, might give one a go and pass on the other.

Neurogena Makeup Remover Face Wipes - Travel size pack containing 7 wipes, handy for cleaning up swatches and will get me through a week of blogging!

Rosken Intensive Moisture Hand Cream Skin Boost - I have decided I really like receiving free hand cream, I use it a lot more often now and while some are most certainly better than others I still enjoy trying new ones.

Pure Paw Paw Oinntment - Pretty tired of seeing this stuff, I know a lot of people love using it on their lips but I never got on that bandwagon. Might try this as a foot moisturiser though so I'll hang on to it for now.

Dr. Lewinn's Multi-Moisture Balm - This is a little 15g tube, not sure if you would consider it a deluxe sample or a travel size. I have a full size of this and they claim you can use it as a face moisturiser, lip balm, makeup remover, hydrating mask and for hands and cuticles.

Manicare Glam Lashes in Kelly - I assume the type of lash you receive can vary, these aren't quite right for my eye shape but will go in my kit.

W7 Big Lash Mascara - I'm actually excited to try this, I've heard some good things about W7 cosmetics.

Rimmel BB Cream SPF 25 in Medium - If anyone had tried this please let me know your thoughts on coverage and finish, I'm hesitant to open it only to discover I hate it and have to pass it on as a used product.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in I Pink I Can - Doesn't look like these colours vary since it is printed on the back of the box. Don't quote me on that though!

So overall I think the box is pretty good, there is something in there for everyone and not a bunch of repeat products, some goody bags have shocked me with the multitude of face creams, nail polishes and body moisturisers they have contained but this one is well balanced. I really hope this becomes a once a year thing for CW & MC.

What do you think of the contents?

Links provided are for shopping examples only, I have personally purchased from some (not all) of these online stores but I highly recommend researching before buying. Items marked * were sent to me for trial and consideration, all other products were purchased by myself and I am in no way affiliated with any of the companies mentioned unless otherwise stated. All opinions are my own and based on my personal experience. Integrity Always..
