  1. I'll pray for your nails to grow! I sort of know the feeling - I tore part of my thumb nail last month cutting up dates for a sticky date pudding & had to trim my nails shorter than usual. It's taking forever for that part of the nail to grow back & I haven't painted my nails since. I had them at quite a good length too before it happened. :o( Toenail polishing has fallen by the wayside since I think I've got a problem with one of them (I damaged this particular toenail last year & whilst it grew back, it's been a bit funny since).

    1. It's horrible isn't it! I know they are just nails but I take a lot of pride in them hahaha

I think it's funny how toe nails grow after they take damage, I've seen many that never recovered from injuries or just decided to give up completely and fall off, never to grow back again. I will pray for your nails too :)

    2. I completely hear you re: taking pride in your nails! I got fed up of looking at my wonky thumb nail & ended up filing down the bit that was growing longer (because I wanted to paint them & I'm impatient). Now my thumb nail looks just about even.

I've been lucky with the toenails that I've damaged, they've all grown back. I'm still not entirely sure if this one toenail is damaged, it might just be dry instead. I've put cuticle oil on it for the last couple of days & the perceived damage looks to be disappearing, so who knows. *shrugs*
