Because why not?

Project Pan 2015 - Update #2

3 April 2015
Project Pan updates will be done monthly from now on because I can't have a messy mind and a messy room at the same time.

As per usual I've done a video update for those who like to watch.

I'll start with the stuff I finished:

L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint - Crap. If you happen to like it try out the Lancome Air De Teint, but hold on to your head because it'll explode.

Givenchy Phenomeneyes Mascara - Crap. That applicator is fucking stupid.

Model Co. Fat Lash Mascara - Crap.

Clinique Chubby Stick in Chunky Cherry - Not crap, actually very nice.

Clinique High Impact Mascara - Really nice, not sure I'd repurchase it but I would take another sample.

Designer Brands Lip Liner in Red - For a cheap brand this is a really good quality liner.

Momma Blush in Brilliant Rose - Stunning colour but loose blushes can go back to where they came from (hell).

Tommy Hillfiger Tommy - Smells like man.

Diptyque Jardin Clos - Would wear this again if I had absolutely no sense of smell.

Armani Prive Cuir Amethyste - Stank.

Emporio Armani Night - Smells like man.

Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude - Was really nice but I don't want a large bottle of it.

Moving along to progress on other products

Giorgio Armani Designer Lift Foundation - Getting there!

Natio Mineral Pressed Powder - Nothing special to see here, not impressive enough for words.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Makeup - I can't even. Why they didn't just make this the same consistency as the concealer (just a little sheerer) is beyond me, they would have had an amazing product. But no, they had to go and FUCK IT UP. I'm cheating and using the Mecca blending sphere to apply this and it eats it.

Giorgio Armani Highlight - Weeks left f use in this.

Giorgio Armani BB - Two, maybe 3 uses left in this, this colour makes a beautiful cream contour for me.

Benefit Erase Paste - If you have any suggestions for how to use this I'm all ears, I'm finding it too thick for my preferred finish of makeup at the moment and the only other way I can think of using it is as an eye shadow primer and that position is currently filled!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer - Dayum! Love this shit, so close to being done!

Still have most of my little base samples, saving these for the more jaded project panning days.

Illamasqua Cream Blush in Dixie - Send help.

MAC Eye Shadow in Brule - I will defeat the MAC and lay claim to my reward of a free lipstick (one day)

Urban Decay Primer Potion - Cut open the stupid packaging because I wasn't getting any product and I wanted to make sure I wasn't completely cheating and found that the tube is a boss at hiding product.

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - So Close.

Australis Tint My Brow - Ughhhhhhhhh. Please suggest next brow setting product to purchase, I'm quite sure I have no similar products. Do not suggest Australis. Please.

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner - PAN!! (GLASS!!?) there is a God and he loves me.

Current progress                                                                                           Last Update

Benefit Lipgloss in Who Are You Wearing - Slow progress, have marked with a blue line that is barely visible. Useless.

Gorgeous Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Fairy Shine - Used a few times, progress isn't visible yet but I know it's somewhere up the top.

Tony Moly 7 Day Tatoo Eyebrow - I've just realised "Tatoo" is spelled incorrectly on the packaging. Ha!

YSL Touche Eclat - So much hype for such a basic and crappy product.

Estee Lauder Artists Pencil in Slate Writer - Getting there.

Rimmel ScandalCRAP - Crap. Have made more progress than I expected.

Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple - No progress. Shame on me!

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Flirty Honey - My next targeted lip product (for the Easter weekend at least).

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey - Was concentrating on this initially with the intention of not stopping until it was done since the scent of it is starting to change but then I figured I'd only have one lip product done for the month and nothing to show on the others (and I got bored, mostly bored).

Designer Brands Lip Liner in Pink - Great quality for a cheap brand, I gotta admit I would really recommend these.

Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey - Slow progress, will get there.

Benefit Boi-ing - Too light for me but will work out ways to use it.

Shadows - I really have to remember to reorganise the palettes to match previous pictures. I've had more progress on the dark brown matte shadow and major progress on the purple. The one that is below the mini pan of Hoola has a little pan showing too and that particular one is going in to the bin because it's not worth the trouble.

So there you have it, new empties and some major progress. My goals for April are to finish 5 products; the Maybelline foundation and concealer, Giorgio Armani BB sample, Clinique Flirty Honey and the Laura Mercier Primer and I'd also like to hit pan on another eye shadow, these are all easy goals and if I continue on with the current momentum I have I think I could possibly finish more.

If you have any suggestions on how to get more use out of products or you're doing your own Project Pan please let me know in the comments!
