Because why not?

Empty! March 2015

31 March 2015
Another small empties post this month, if you'd like to see everything I've been finishing up lately you can check out my last Project Pan post and tomorrow I'll have my first Beauty Basket update up which will feature (spoiler) quite a few more empty products.

If you would prefer to watch rather than read you can check out this video instead

Tresemme Moisture Rich Conditioner - Not my preferred conditioner for mixing with my hair colours but my local CW never has the Naturals range in stock. It still works the same so I shouldn't complain.
Repurchase? Yes.

Beauty By Zazie Nail Polish Remover - Only $2 at Chemist Warehouse and a really generous 250ml bottle, worked well and got the job done without burning a hole in my pocket.
Repurchase? Yes, I think I'll grab a couple bottle next time because they were super good value.

Diggers Isopropyl Alcohol - Use this to spot clean my brushes. LOVE it!
Repurchase? Already have, I'm actually thinking I need to try to find this in a huge economy size bottle because I go through a lot of it.

Daiso Puff & Sponge Detergent - I think I have 2 or 3 of these left, it's a staple product for me but I have concluded that I prefer the Dr. Bronner's Liquid Soap, in saying that they both have their benefits and drawbacks though so I'll continue to use both.
Repurchase? Won't need to for a little while but I definitely will in the future.

Glasshouse Montego Bay Coconut & Lime Mini Candle - Loved this, the Christmas mini collection was a great way for me to sample other candles in the range without the fear of commitment I have with the full size ones.
Repurchase? Yes, I'd buy a full size Montego Bay and I'd also buy the Christmas mini sets in the future.

Daiso Good Puff x2 - These were nice enough, just makeup remover pads, nothing super special going on.
Repurchase? I would, I'd like to try some others sold at Daiso but I'm sure I'll come back to these at some point.

Plackers Whitening Flossers - An alternative to the usual Ezi-Flossers I buy, they were much more cost effective and work just the same.
Repurchase? Yes.

Bath Charm Store Dead Sea Salt Pearl Natural Soap - Supposed to be a facial soap but there was no way in hell this was going near my face, it was drying enough on my body!
Repurchase? No.

Shara Shara Revital Magic Cream - Used it on my feet, meant to be used on the face, absolutely have no idea how a thick balm like cream could be used on the face...
Repurchase? No.

Olay Anti-Aging Eye Roller - Don't think it really did anything but I enjoyed using it, sat nicely under my eye creams and makeup and was easy to use up.
Repurchase? No.

MOR Marshmallow Hand Cream - Oh MY GOD, the overpowering stench was enough to make me sick.
Repurchase? No, never, ever. You couldn't PAY me to use it again.

Avon Mirror Shine Nail Polish in Glimmer - Was one upon a time really pretty and the formula is still perfect but the brush is all sorts of fucked up so I'm tossing it out.
Repurchase? I'm sure these would have been discontinued, so no, but I wouldn't say no to more Avon polishes, they are quite good.

Vitamin Sun Cream - Too greasy for my face so used it on my body. I didn't get sun burnt so it works.
Repurchase? No, I'm not going to chase up a basic Korean sunscreen when I can buy them in local shops.

John Frieda Preision Foam Colour Conditioner - CRAP!
Repurchase? No.

The Body Shop Passion Fruit Shower Gel - Smells like passion fruit and flowers, ruins it for me but cleans well.
Repurchase? No.

Mumur Air Waterdrop Cooling Hand Cream (review) - Was nice and super fun but I started to feel like it wasn't quite hydrating enough for me, the product I use to wash my hands is quite drying though so perhaps it wouldn't be too bad with a decent hand wash.
Repurhase? Would be too difficult to source here in Australia.

Caron Labs Disposable Vinyl Gloves 100pk (not pictured) - Just gloves, love them.
Repurchase? Yes, but I'm not prepared to make a trip to Preston for them just yet so I grabbed a box at Chemist Warehouse for now.

  1. I love your honest opinions on all these products. I too love trialing mini versions of candles before committing to full size one. Full size ones can be so expensive.

    1. Yeah, they can be quite damaging to the bank account! I don't mind splurging on them once or twice a year but they have to be scents that I know I adore!
