Because why not?

Memebox - Winter Essential Masks

2 February 2015
This post is late, late, late! I've had this box for ages and I wasn't even going to post about it but I wanted to use this opportunity to update my readers on some Memebox news (which will be at the end of the post).

This box didn't come with an info card, instead all the info was available online via a URL that was provided with the box. My box also got a little damaged due to a leaking product so I didn't bother keeping any of the packaging or photographing it.

Although we aren't in winter here in the Land of Oz I'm still a bit mask crazy and I actually got this box for free since I had so many points. Can you blame me for wanting it!?!

1. Velieve Girlish Mask 20ml X 3ea Full Size RRP $7
Randomly selected from Collagen Lifting, Honey Moisture, Vita Shining, Aloe Soothing
Received: Honey, Aloe & Vita Shining.
The 4 masks in this set offer different benefits; marine collagen for firming and tightening, honey extracts for nourishing, lemon extracts for brightening (Vita Shining), and aloe vera extracts for moisturizing and soothing. If you've checked out my Beauty Inventory then you know I don't need these, but I wanted them and now I'm happy that I have them. I've actually kept these propped up n my desk due to not having storage space for them yet and they look so damn cute. Not sorry.

2. RiRe Patting Water Pack 300ml Full Size RRP $42
Randomly selected from Lifting, Brightening, Moisture
Received Lifting

I love patting waters! I prefer to mix mine in to a bottle and pat it over my face after cleansing which prevents wastage. The yellow lifting pack uses evening primrose and helps to tighten and rejuvenate the skin (yaaaas!!). This was the item that leaked in my box but I didn't lose too much product and only the boxes were damaged.

3. Inoface Real Natural Pulp Essence Sheet Mask 23ml Full Size RRP $2
Randomly selected from Snail, Q10, Collagen, Aloe
Received Collagen

This mask contains snail mucus, aloe, Q10 and collagen and promote skin firming, soothing and moisturising and is apparently suitable for year round use.

4. Esthetic House Collagen Jelly Mask Pack 100ml Full Size RRP $13

Pig collagen mask!! This is supposed to help with tightening and skin elasticity and reducing the appearance of wrinkles, the texture is like a soft jelly and I'm keen to try it simply because it's weird.

5. Lassie'el Raspberry Age Defying Yogurt Massage Mask 12g Full Size RRP $6
Full size product: 12g ($6)

These 4 single use yogurt masks contain lactobacillus, raspberry extract and collagen extracts to help with wrinkles and sagging skin and while my skin doesn't sag yet I do have me some lines.

6. Pure Smile Jewelry Bubble Ruby & Pure Bubble Royal Jelly 3g X 2ea Full Size RRP $2

These are single use, wash off face masks. The Ruby pack contains ruby (!?!) extracts, hyaluronic acid, aloe, green tea and other lovely ingredients and helps to soothe and replenish while the Royal Jelly pack uses royal jelly which contains over 40 kinds of vitamins and minerals which help to treat acne prone skin and they apparently both bubble up on the skin! I really like single use masks because I don't have to worry about forgetting about them once they are open, I simply use it and toss out the packaging, brilliant.

Cost of box: $29.99USD + $6.99USD shipping
Memevalue: $72USD
What I paid: $0
Overall I'm pretty happy with the box, I got what I wanted which was a mask fix (even though I didn't really need it).

Before I finish up this post I just thought I'd let you folks know that Memebox is stopping shipping to International countries as of the 10th of February so if you think you would like to try a Memebox now is the time to snap one up. Also just to let you know there are no affiliate links in this post (or in the upcoming posts I will do since I have a couple boxes on the way) as I have chosen not to continue with their affiliate program just to save my sanity due to new changes, thank you so much to those who chose to purchase through my links in the past :)

Links provided are for shopping examples only, I have personally purchased from some (not all) of these online stores but I highly recommend researching before buying. Items marked * were sent to me for trial and consideration, all other products were purchased by myself and I am in no way affiliated with any of the companies mentioned unless otherwise stated.
