Because why not?

2015 Lovers #1 - Recent Favourites

20 February 2015
I find 'favourites' posts really difficult to write, I feel like these posts should contain Holy Grail products which would lead to only 1 or 2 posts a year at most for me but I think I'm just taking it all a bit too seriously and this is why I rarely post about my current favourites. This year I'm going to try to be a bit more relaxed about it and do them every couple of months, but I can't promise anything, if I'm not feeling the love with the products, it's not going up.

Klorane Shampoo & Conditioner
I picked up this duo at a local chemist on Boxing Day, I didn't expect them to be anything special but they have surprised me! These aren't quite up there with my HG hair cleansers but considering that they can be picked up for $9 each at Chemist Warehouse I have to say they are worth a go and I'm pretty damn sure I'll be buying these again. They definitely help to keep my hair feeling softer for longer compared to other S&C's in this price range and I reckon they are a bit of a 'hidden in plain sight' gem.

Bijoux Tattoo
I have been obsessed with these this summer and when I bring them along to events my friends enjoy them too, even the guys are keen on picking some out to try! These look really beautiful against all skin types and are very eye catching.

Clinique Clarifying Lotion
If I could harvest and sell the oil that my face produces in summer I would be fucking rolling in dough right now. I opted to use this because it's one of the stronger toners that I have in my stash at the moment but it's also huge and needs to be used up, turns out that I forgot that I actually love this for the summer, not only does it keep my skin in check when it's trying to be an asshole but it has a lovely cooling sensation and works beautifully with the rest of my skin care.

Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream
I have had this in my rotation for quite some time now and love it so much that I purchased a backup along with the serum from the same line and a pack of the masks. This is way to rich for day use (at the moment at least) but every time I use it at night I wake up with the softest skin, it feels plump and smooth like a baby's butt. I loooooove it.

Clinique Almost Lipstick
I've been using these regularly recently, particularly Flirty Honey (pink) since I'm Project Panning it and I've been reminded how amazing these are, they offer soft but buildable colour and help to keep lips well hydrated. I'm also pleased to say that I found my Black Honey after it seemed to disappear in to my stash.

MAC Cleanse Off Oil
I adore cleansing oils and this one is no exception but what sets it apart from the less expensive brands I've tried is that this is so light and washes away quickly and never leaves a residue, some cleansing oils need a little work to emulsify them properly and wash away all of the residue but this one is a lazy girls best friend.

Lancome Bi-Facil
Another makeup remover I've been loving, this makes light work of heavy eye makeup and doesn't irritate my eyeballs, what more could a girl ask for?
