Because why not?

Blogmas - WTF Wednesday Mumur Air Waterdrop Cooling Hand Cream

17 December 2014
This was not the planned product for this WTF Wednesday post but I've just come home from my last day at my second job for the year and I need something easy to write about because my brain is ready to switch off for the night, since I'm currently really excited about this product it's going to be easy for me to write about.

This hand cream comes doesn't seem like much at first, the packaging is simple and quite plain but using matte black and white as it's colour scheme with reflective silver accents gives it a funky modern feel but really the packaging isn't the fun bit with this product..

The WTF aspect comes in the instant you squeeze the 'cream' out on to your hand, you can tell it's not like the other kids in the play ground from the way it looks, it almost has the appearance of Vaseline, like a cloudy petroleum jelly but it's basically weightless.

Then you start the natural process of rubbing it in to your hands, this is where this product becomes super cool, I can't work out if the product is dissolving or some sort of other reaction with the skin is happening but it feels like the cream turns in to water.

If you look closely at the photo above you will be able to see little water droplets (all the shiny, reflective bits, the cream is completely matte on it's own) and below (after rubbing in for 3-4 seconds) my hand just looks like it was held under a running tap and photographed.

I've tried some Korean face creams that do something similar to this but not quite on this scale, after rubbing it in to my hands for a short period it really does feel like I'm just rubbing water over my hands.

Not only is this a fun hand cream but I love the after effect, once it starts to absorb I can feel that my hands are silky smooth and there is no sticky or slick residue whatsoever, which for me is really important because I often use hand creams when I'm typing and I become very aware of my hands and how they feel, if they are slick or sticky I tend to end up washing the cream off which totally defeats the purpose really.

This hand cream has no scent which is a bonus because I've never used a hand cream that had absolutely no scent and I've discovered that I prefer it because I'm one of those people that can't stop touching their face. Yes, I know, dirty, dirty.

Since the product contains hyaluronic acid it helps the skin to absorb and hold more moisture while also making the sometimes boring experience of caring for your hands a little bit more fun.

I've not been able to find a stockist for this product but I'm not the Queen of Korean online beauty stores so I'll have to ask around because this is one I would like to keep in my stash.

What do you think of a hand cream that feels like water?
