Because why not?

Blogmas - Saturday Sample: GlamGlow BrightMud Eye Treatment

6 December 2014
I'll admit I have a bit of an obsession with GlamGlow products, I always pick them up and have a look/touch/sniff when I'm in a Mecca store but I haven't pulled the trigger on a purchase yet.

After one of my readers sent me a sample of the GlamGlow YouthMud Mask (review) I knew that it was a product I would pay for, the price makes me want to cry tears of blood but the results were like nothing I had ever experienced from a simple mask before.

The GlamGlow BrightMud Eye Treatment sample came in a Beauty Loop Box (unboxing) and I've been hesitant to try it because I don't want to fall in love with it because this little lady can't afford more than one or two expensive product addictions and those positions are already full up.

The GlamGlow BrightMud Eye Treatment comes in a twin pod foil packet that they have named (and trademarked) 'dual Chrome Cells', they recommend using a whole 'dual Chrome Cell' for both eyes. I had read a few blogger reviews on this product and everyone said that they used a single 'cell' for both eyes, effectively making each foil packet last two applications, I chose to go this way because these little things are damned expensive and I don't have money trees growing in my backyard so I'm going to be a tight-arse when I can.

The eye mask is basically just a gel-ish cream with little bits of some sort of plant matter in it, you simply tap it on and 3 minutes later wipe it off (you'll get a burning 'tingling' sensation when you apply it). There is a bunch of info on the GlamGlow Website about what it does and why but I'm not going to get in to the ins and outs because I don't really care for the product and don't think it's worth the high price tag, take a look at my before and after photos and you might understand why I don't want to waste any more time blahhing on about it.

Before, oh dear my brows.

After, I think I look more tired!
I think, just maybe, that it softened those little lines I have just under my lower lash line and brightened my skin a little but really that is the only difference, and I also look like I needed a nap after using it.

My verdict is that the $75.00AUD price tag is waaaaaay up there for a product that did nothing for me and with great joy I can confirm that this isn't a product that I need, want or would purchase.

Hallelujah!

GlamGlow BrightMud Eye Treatment can be purchased for $75.00AUD from Mecca Cosmetica (but please try a sample first!!)

What do you think? Stupid and expensive or still a bit curious?

Links provided are for shopping examples only, I have personally purchased from some (not all) of these online stores but I highly recommend researching before buying. Items marked * were sent to me for trial and consideration, all other products were purchased by myself and I am in no way affiliated with any of the companies mentioned unless otherwise stated. All opinions are my own and based on my personal experience. Integrity Always..
