Because why not?

Blogmas - Boxing Day Haul

27 December 2014
So I did brave the Boxing Day sales today but I cheated and went to my local David Jones, it's a little one in Malvern that was quite busy but still easy enough to shop in without wanting to roll up in a ball and cry.

I went there looking for a Michael Kors bag, they were all ugly and not what I would consider heavily discounted so I'll make a trip to DFO sometime next year.

I didn't spend much but I'm actually really pleased with my purchases so while I sit here with my wheel of Triple Cream Brie and tray of crackers I'm going to chit chat all my excitement out.

And yes, I'm going to eat the whole wheel of brie in one sitting.

My first stop was actually an Amcal Chemist, they had a lot of Christmas sets this year but none that I had my heart set on, although when you take 20% off their price things look a little more tempting.

I adore Trilogy, their Rosapene line is super duper awesome so I grabbed this, the Rosehip oil is something I will never be without (I already have a backup but I wanted another for a friend) and I'm keen to try the eye cream, the little pot of day moisturiser will be going to my friend who is having dry skin issues and I'll be making up a little bag of goodies to set her on the road to recovery.

I'm a fan of the Klorane Dry Shampoo and have always been a little curious about their Shampoo and Conditioner so I grabbed this one for dry & damaged hair.

I got change from $50 for the two sets.

Next it was David Jones and they really didn't have much of anything that I wanted but when I saw this Tresor Midnight Rose gift set I snapped it up, usually the 30ml Midnight Rose retails for about $81 and since this one didn't contain body wash and moisturiser as the bonus items I was all over it, I would have loved if the bottle was bigger but I'm still happy with this. I've actually been wanting to grab this perfume for over a year now but it's so expensive that I couldn't justify it until today.

Finally I grabbed a pair of summer bed shorts from Sussan, I think they were around $15 and they are perfect for blogging in while eating a wheel of Brie, you should try it.

So not a huge spending spree, just a few little after Christmas bargains to add to my growing collection of excess shit.

Did you pick up any Boxing Day bargains this year???

    1. I wasn't really satisfied either Monique, I think because I had planned to spend up big on a MK bag but came home with a full wallet kinda ruined it for me.

I've decided to curb the spending though, I want to make some big purchases at Salon Melbourne and I might duck over to DFO afterwards and check out the MK clearance store, they had a ton of simple black bags when I was there earlier this month so I'll just have to wait it out.
