Night Skin Care Routine.

Following up from my morning routine post I'm now going to show you what I use for my night routine aka excuse for more mini reviews. I can hear the excitement.

The Cleanse.

Garnier Gentle Cleansing Milk (review) - If I'm wearing makeup or sunscreen I use this first, from my review you will see that I hate it but it's usable so I'm working through it.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel* - I did a quick run down of this in my morning routine post, it's ok, just trying to use it up.

The Prep.

Puretopia Refresh & Balance Hydrating & Soothing Facial Mist & Toner - Again this was mentioned in my morning routine post, I especially hate the spray feature in the morning or fresh out of the shower because it fucks up my hair. No, I can't seem to not get it in there.

Blithe Patting Water Pack Energy Yellow Citrus & Honey - The morning post tells you the basics, this post will tell you again that I LOVE IT.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchornized Recovery Complex II - I don't even know what the fuck this is. I'm going to do a full review on this too but at the moment my opinion is "runny goop in a bottle". We'll see if anything changes.

Indeed Laboratories Eysilix (review) - I don't really like this which initially surprised me, Indeed Labs products are usually really good but this doesn't do much of anything for me, in fact since I started using it months ago I have noticed new lines around my eyes. Brilliant. I'm just trying to use it up and to be honest I'm over it. Good news: If this works for you and you love it, it will last you a long time!

People For Plants Night Cream - I had high hopes for this brand, the night cream was my introduction to their range and it hasn't disappointed. Before I started using this I was having crazy breakouts due to other face creams so I was really apprehensive about everything that was going on my skin but after just one night I noticed a difference. I think I'll do a full review on this one but if you want to know a quick verdict; give the brand a go, this one is hydrating and full of the good stuff skin craves.

Generally about 7 - cleanser, facial mist acting-as-a-toner, face oil (I use the argan, pomegranate & milk thistle one from People For Plants, I like it, it acts as my serum I suppose), zit treatment if I've know, some eczema cream for the patches I have on my face, eye cream (if I've got it - run out atm, going to try the Antipodes one soon, really hoping it doesn't disappoint because the jar is huuuuuge and it'll take forever to use) & moisturiser (for my cheeks & neck only cos that's where my skin is dryer). Not quite in that order though.

    1. I like to use a face oil as a serum too, there is just something about oils that my skin responds so well to over standard serums.

      I feel for you dealing with eczema on the face, I get it on my hands and feet and that is nightmare enough!

    2. I have had it practically everywhere on my body throughout my life, including my hands - I couldn't wear eyeshadow for a while because I had a chronic case of it on one of my eyelids. The eyelid stuff has gone away thankfully, but now I have a red flaky patch smack bang in the middle of my forehead *groan* & another one near my right cheek.

      They're a pain to conceal & I think I know what's causing it (suspected food intolerances - I know what triggers it, yet I'm being stubborn & not completely cutting out my triggers), but I have noticed if I'm wearing mineral foundation (Inika) a lot, they seem to calm down a bit.

    3. I hear you about food triggers! The same happens to me with my eczema and also migraines but giving up some of my favourite foods or delicious ingredients just isn't something I'm willing to do completely.
