Because why not?

(Pretty Big) Haul - OPI

21 June 2014
A couple of weeks ago I applied for a Salon First membership, they were quick to respond, accept and send me my membership card, I won't talk too much about the company because they are an industry professional store only which means they aren't open to the general public which will likely annoy you guys after you see what I got and what I paid for it all but I want to share my haul because it contains a lot of new instant favourites and I'm excited about my new goodies, also it's easy for me to blog about stuff like this because it requires minimal brain function.

Late last week I decided it was time to do my first shop with Salon First, I had visited one of their brick and mortar Melbourne stores the week before and drooled all the way through their store. At home I had to really control myself and tried to stay stricktly in their sale pages so I wouldn't overspend, I managed to stay below budget and scored a bunch of lovely goodies.

The first item I grabbed was a bottle of Seche Vite, my current one is nearly empty and no top coat has impressed me like this one, I doubt I'll ever stop using it.

Next up I started going through their OPI sale and discontinued polishes, these are full size bottles going for $5-$5.50 each. After filling my cart I had a peek at the non sale items and a few items made it on to my list...

(L-R) Samba-dy Loves Purple | I'm Brazil Nuts Over You | What's a Little Rain Forrest | You're So Flippy Floppy

The OPI Beach Sandies pack was irresistible to me, you guys know how much I love liquid sand polishes and this little 4 piece set was only $14.95. In hindsight they aren't my favourite items from the haul but it's not quite a regret purchase either. The glitter content of these particular LS's is lower than the ones I typically love but the colours are so vibrant and pretty that I can't bring my self to dislike them.

(L-R) Underneath The Mistletoe | Honk If You Love OPI | I Have A Herring Problem | I Snow You Love Me
And here we have the full size polishes, just about every one is sparkly, shimmery or glittery except for the dark burgundy you see pictured above, what can I say I fucking love glitter polishes! If anyone knows how to make that last chunky glitter polish work nicely without applying 20 thick layers and making a huge mess please feel free to fill a sister in!

(L-R) It's Frosty Outside | My Favourite Ornament | Make Him Mine | Silent Stars Go By
All those pretty liquid sands!! These were the main reason I made the order.

(L-R) Baby Please Come Home | Tiffany Case | Bay Bridge Sunset
Other than the Seche Vite ($9.95) and the mini set, Bay Bridge Sunset was the only single polish that I paid full price on, but at $9.95 it's not like it's going to break the bank.

So there you have it.. 9 full size OPI polishes, a mini set and my beloved Seche Vite for $94.79 and that also covered shipping. Not bad hey.

What was your most recent bargain haul??
