Because why not?

June Lovers 2014.

29 June 2014
I don't like these posts! It's too hard picking things!

Last month Kat from Kitsch Snitch made this video and I can relate to the part about "Runners Up".

Anyway lets look at the crap that didn't feel like such a 'runner up' for me.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette - You guys probably already know that I've been pretty obsessed with these powders lately considering the amount I've purchased, but had I been able to purchase this one straight off the bat I wouldn't have bothered with the others, this is the perfect combination for me and I hardly touch my others now, they will likely be sanitised and used in my freelancing kit so they don't go to waste.

Dermalogica Age Smart Skin Perfect Primer - I've been using this a lot lately but I'm actually a little on the fence still, I think I like it more on it's own but I'm still in the trialing phase, have only used it under one foundation so far.

Giorgio Armani Designer Lift Foundation - Winter is making my skin sad and this stuff offers a lot of happy camouflage. Highly recommend if you're dealing with dry skin woes (also, ladies with mature skin, go see if you can get a little sample to try).

Manicare Glameyes Miranda Lashes - I've seriously worn these almost every day this month. The lashes are actually too big for me so I cut them in half, also considering my eye shape and size this is generally what I do with all full bar lashes. These blend nicely and don't look like strips of plastic stuck on your face, but the flair they offer isn't for the faint at heart.

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid liner Pen - This product shocked me, it's fucking good! The problem I have with it is that I can't create a nice flick, not sure if it's because I'm so conditioned with a brush or if I'm just unco. Anyway this is something that I so don't need and can't use without incorporating a gel to finish my liner but I find myself reaching for it every. single. time. I do my makeup, can't help it. Love it.

Another thing I'm loving right now is knitting, it's like my winter hobby, but my GOD! Have you seen the price of wool??? I'll have to sell my first born to support my habit.

What are you loving this month?

Links provided are for shopping examples only, I have personally purchased from some (not all) of these online stores but I highly recommend researching before buying. Items marked * were sent to me for trial and consideration, all other products were purchased by myself and I am in no way affiliated with any of the companies mentioned unless otherwise stated. 1. I actually used my master precise liner from the BIB box for the first time last night, and I was super impressed too! I was worried it was going to smudge everywhere and make me look like a panda throughout the night but it stayed perfect. Hallelujah for products that live up to the hype!

  2. I have been looking for a good liquid liner pen! I will have to try out the Maybelline one. Also - I have heard so many good things about Armani foundations... I am so tempted to try one out but I don't really have the budget for it. Maybe when my tax return comes, haha.

    Thanks for sharing! :)
