Because why not?

Empty! May 2014

2 June 2014
I have discovered that as you accumulate more time spent on the planet the time you have left goes quicker. No one warns you about this, you just hear stupid comments like "time flies!" while your growing up and all you can think is 'shut up mum, Super Ted is on'. Then one day you're looking at the calender thinking..

Where did the last 4 years go?

I can't believe it's the end of May. I can't believe it's 2014. Time is a Ninja.

Anyway lets look at the empties.

Lapurete Okuru Cleanser & Toner - Full review here. Nice cream cleanser but nothing life changing.
Repurchase? Have a travel size I'm currently using but not likely, I don't think it's worth the price tag.

Formula 10.0.6 Overnight Success Patches - I both like these and think they are crap at the same time, great for healing popped spots but useless on clearing them up when they are forming. Reviewed them here.
Repurchase? No.

Muk Intense Repair Treatment - Really nice and smelt amazing but not enough hydration on it's own for me, great for strength though! Full review here.
Repurchase? Possibly, I have a few on the list I want to try first though.

L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil - Full review here. This product doesn't excite me.
Repurchase? No.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Rinse Off Treatment - Love this stuff, for such a cheap product this stuff is awesome, don't listen to the directions, add it to damp hair then wrap it up in glad wrap for as long as you can. Full review here.
Repurchase? Yes.

Herbal Essences Honey I'm Strong Shampoo - Great shampoo, smells SO GOOD! HE has picked up their game.
Repurchase? Yes.

Garnier Body Tonic Sugar Scrub - Full review here. Really awesome scrub, I've come to enjoy citrus-y scented products lately and I think this one started the new love affair.
Repurchase? Once I make a dent in the 3 Dirty Works scrubs that I have backed up and double check that I have no other random body exfoliants laying around, yes.

Samples and Single Use Products

Philosophy Hope in a Jar Night - This wasn't for me.. I felt like it kind of 'set' on the skin like a foundation would and left a bit of a weird, heavy, restrictive feeling on my face. It has AHA's in it which is good for those who like them but I can't use them regularly so I found it difficult to enjoy.
Repurchase? No.

Maelin & Goetz Vitamin E Face Moisturiser - Balled up on my skin, assume it wasn't working well with Hydraluron, otherwise it was fairly nice.
Repurchase? No, Invite E is probably the nicest Vitamin E cream I have used and I would always choose it over this.

David Jones Milk & Honey Body Wash - The smell of this is so amazing, I have 2 of the body lotion minis and another body wash mini squirreled away and I will be saving them for a special occasion.
Repurchase? Yes but not yet, I really can not justify buying more body wash or lotion. I'm crazy and all but I can still see the light when it comes to having too many products.

Skinlite Shine & Hydrate Intensive Hair Treatment - Was quite nice although I saw nothing with the shine side of things (not surprised with the way my hair is at the moment), unfortunately I really need about 4 or 5 of these to cover all my hair properly which then doesn't make them such a bargain.
Repurchase? I have grabbed one of each from the range that could suit my hair and I'll slowly make my way through them but I doubt I'll buy again because I need multiples for my length, I'd prefer to buy a tub of treatment.

Collagen Crystal Facial Mask - Such a novelty! Had a good laugh reading the Engrish on the packaging; "Section 1 of the world can absorb the emergency mask".
Repurchase? Not this particular one but I'd like to try some more of these collagen type masks in the future.

Clarins Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm - Really nice lip balm, I've been having some weird shit going on with my lips, standard lip balms just seem to be drying them out even more. I even took to using a bright red Revlon Lip Butter constantly because it was the only thing that wasn't making my lips worse, yup, even at night when I was fresh faced and in my PJ's. Have managed to fix the issue, but sad to see this empty.
Repurchase? This is tough for me, I can't really justify spending $30 on a lip balm, I've had multiples of these from GWP bags and I do really like it but seriously, $30? I won't.

Not Empty Empties

Lawrence G Sweet Lacquer - It looks so manky!
Repurchase? No.

Aii Beauty Waterproof Lash Grip - Has separated, time to go.
Repurchase? No.

Glo Minerals The Cherry Balm - Found it in my car, no idea how long it's been there. Rediculously large.
Repurchase? No.

Do empties excite you? Every time I review what I've used up I feel quite proud!
