Come Play With Me - Vamp It Up!

17 May 2014
I passed the baton to Indie for our next CPWM theme and she chose to Vamp It Up!!

I opted for something dark and sultry, which is how I imagine vampires. Sex-aaay!

Items Used

  • Giorgio Armani Designer Lift Foundation
  • Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Concealer
  • MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
  • Estee Lauder Berry Burst Shadow (not pictured because derp)
  • Urban Decay Naked Palette (Creep)
  • Flormar Ultra Black Eye Liner
  • Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner
  • Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara
  • Benefit Hoola
  • Illamasqua Cream Blush in Dixie
  • Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light
  • Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light
  • Clains Eye Pencil in Plum
  • Australis Velour Lips in NY-CEE
  • Christian Brow Palette (Taupe)

I started off with my base, concealing my dark circles with the Maybelline Concealer, applying 2 layers of Giorgio Armani Foundation and blocking out my lips with the MAC Concealer.

My eyes were a base of Estee Lauder Berry Burst and Urban Decay Creep was worked in to my crease, I lined both waterlines and under my lower lashes with Flormar Ultra Black Eyeliner and smudged it out before working more of the Estee Lauder Berry Burst over the top. I used the Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner to create a winged liner on my upper lash line and finished my lashes with Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara. My brows were filled with Christian Brow Powder in Taupe.

I dusted Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light all over my face to set my foundation.

I heavily contoured my cheek bones with Benefit Hoola and worked a little of the product in to my jaw line, temples and forehead, I finished my cheeks with Illamasqua Cream Blush. I then dusted a generous amount of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light on my cheek bones, temples, down my nose and on my cupids bow.

I opted for a John Galliano style lip, starting with Lining and filling my top lip with the Clarins Eye Pencil, I then dabbed a little on to my lower lip and smudged it out, I finished with a dab of Australis Velour Lips in NY-CEE in the center of my lips and blended that in to the plum.

Loved this theme! I have decided I must get a pair of fangs to play with.

Don't forgot to check out Indie's look and you can expect the other ladies to post their looks soon, I'll update with the links to those as they become available.
Update: Kat has been playing with blue and I love the intensity she managed to produce! But since she wasn't quite satisfied with her first attempts she gives us a part 2!

Also if you'd like to create your own interpretation of Vamp It Up! we would love to have you join us!
