Because why not?

April 2014 Lovers.

29 April 2014
I'm still struggling to find a layout that I like for these favourite posts, a lot of the things that I've shown in previous months still stand as favourites and some I no longer like so much but I don't know how to keep you guys up to date without showing you the same shit every week, I always have something new to throw in to the mix so I'd like to keep these as monthly posts but I just can't get my head around a way of keeping you updated on what is still awesome, what now sucks and what's new and rocking this little world of mine. Suggestions?

Anyway, on to the favourites, small bunch this month.

The combination of Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+, Covergirl Outlast Stay Fab foundation & Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer is the fucking bees knees! They work so well together and it's a rare occurance that any other base products get a look in.

I finally purchased an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, I chose Mood Light. While the powder is amazing I've noticed it needs to be used carefully otherwise it can easily look like shit, this isn't your average setting powder.

In the A/W David Jones Sampler Tote there were little travel size tubes of the David Jones Milk & Honey Body Wash and Body Lotion. This stuff smells like Heaven. Actually like Heaven, I should know, I came from there. Jokes aside, the scent of this brings me right to the edge of a childhood memory that I can't quite remember, it's the strangest feeling, I know this was something I smelt often as a child and it has an amazing ability to transport me to my childhood home. I adore this. It's not a bad body wash either.

Finally Crown Brush Deluxe Crease (Italian Badger #IB119) This blending brush is the SHIT! I usually use a pencil brush for blending or my MAC 224, the pencil brushes do a good job and do it quickly, the MAC 224 is right up there with the crappiest brushes I have ever owned but the Crown IB119 is so damn nice, it does the job a little slower than the pencil brushes but it blends so nicely and never muddies the colours. I wish I'd picked up 10 of these.

Dishonorable Mentions

The Avon Anew Clinical E-Defence Deep Recovery Cream has to go because it burns my eye balls.

The Palmer's Daily Calming Facial Lotion will likely stay in my stash but it'll go bad before I finish it, it's not a bad product but the smell is just so rank and I think Palmer's were lazy with this product.

Tell me you fave and most hated product of the month!

Links provided are for shopping examples only, I have personally purchased from some (not all) of these online stores but I highly recommend researching before buying. Items marked * were sent to me for trial and consideration, all other products were purchased by myself and I am in no way affiliated with any of the companies mentioned unless otherwise stated. 1. Most loved - my new Chanel foundation.
Most hated - Paul Mitchell seal & shine thermal protectant. Makes my hair sticky and crispy. Yuck!

    1. Really have to try one of those Chanel foundations but I'm scared I'll fall in love and it'll become a very expensive love story!
