Because why not?

March 2014 Lovers.

30 March 2014
I have decided to keep my loves to a maximum of 10 per month or you folks are going to be seeing many of the same things over and over, this way you'll only be seeing a few repeat products that I just can't get over.

On to the favourites!!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer may have a bullshit name and bullshit applicator but the formula is pretty damn impressive. Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation is my most reached for product at the moment, it just does everything right. Clinique's Anti-Blemish Solution has been impressing me recently, I always appreciate a product that is effective yet doesn't dry out my skin and leave flaky revolting patches on my face. Lancome #1 Powder Travel Brush, this one was in my Christmas gift from mum, usually travel brushes aren't my thing but this one is fantastic quality and I'm constantly reaching for it.

Hair & Body

Look guys! I finally managed to get an all time favourite in the damn monthly post! Melrose Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil is absolutely essential in my hair routine! Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser still has novelty value for me, I like the way it applies, absorbs and leaves my skin feeling so soft and when I use it after the Garnier Body Tonic Sugar Scrub it's even better. Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Rinse Off Treatment is still making me happy and easily compares to the salon products I've been using, I like to apply it to clean wet hair, wrap it in glad wrap and put some heat over it, after leaving it in for an hour (or the whole day) I rinse it out and my hair is soft and shiny. My Tangle Teezer is still going strong and I haven't used any other type of brush since I purchased it. Manic Panic Semi Hair Colour in Ultra Violet is also floating my boat not only for toning my blonde but also for going a pretty frosted purple.

My final love is my hair, I took the plunge and have started down the road of unconventional colours, I need to add some more colour pots to my collection but I'm already in love with the fact that I can change this up as often as I want, while maintaining it is very time consuming it's something I'm willing to endure for a colour like that!

What was your favourite product this month??

All Products were purchased by myself and I'm in no way affiliated with any of the companies mentioned unless otherwise stated. Links provided are for shopping examples only, I have personally purchased from some (not all) of these online stores but I highly recommend researching before buying.

  1. Love your hair! It looks so cool! I really like the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer too. I wanted to get the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solution but I chickened out after reading some bad reviews of it burning people's faces. :/

    1. I've not heard of the Clinique spot treatment causing problems but then again I didn't do much research before I started using it, I think if you had super sensitive skin it could cause a problem but for me it's been nothing but good.

  2. I am absolutely in love with your hair!!! I dyed my hair purple when I was a teen, but haven't tried anything else... mainly because the the conservative work culture, one of the companies I worked for didn't allow long nails or coloured nail polish.

    1. I could never work with a company that didn't let me express myself with my appearance! I can't believe they were so strict as to control your nails!!

  3. Wow, no wonder your hair made it into this post, it looks amazing. I love manic panic colours.

    1. Thanks Indie! :) I think I need to go a coral colour next, it just seems to be calling to me!
