Because why not?

February 2014 Collective Haul.

3 March 2014
I didn't spend excessively in feb but it wasn't for lack of trying, it was one of those months where I'd pick something up I was interested in but the urge to own it would fade and mostly things went back on the shelf rather than in my shopping basket.

The first item I ended up with was a Glasshouse Candle in Rio De Janeiro and I must admit it's right up there with my fave things at the moment, I purchased this to qualify for the David Jones Beauty Tote, I wound up with both bags and I think this was always lurking in the back of my mind and prevented quite a bit of impulse buying.

I absolutely had to try Vaseline's new spray moisturiser and I'm not disappointed that I grabbed it, the same goes for Australis' Velourlips in TOK-I-O and Tint My Brow in Blonde, I'm enjoying both products immensely but the Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Foundation Stick didn't win me over.

I'm at the bleach bath stage of lightening my hair which means I use a lot of clarifying shampoo and am toning my hair very often leading me to buy the biggest bottles of conditioner I can find, as you can see the Herbal Essences Drama Clean is half empty and that was only after one use :/
The Tresemme Moisture Rich Conditioner is below average but works well for toning purposes.

Rexona Clinical Protection is my HG deodorant and I saw my local Coles had some of the new Maybelline Colour Show Brocades polishes and since I'm currently obsessed with glitter they were a necessity. Glitter is like air; I need it to live, understand?

I am sick to death of paying high prices for disposable gloves at the supermarket so I went to one of my favourite trade stores which lead to not only buying gloves that fit me properly in bulk but also more nail polishes and a polish restoring solution. I opted to try out Layla's Hollogram Effect polish in Red Taboo and Cloudy Violet, China Glaze Transitions polish in Split Perso-Nail-Ity and the obvious choice; Seche Restore.

By now you are probably aware that I'm going through a hair obsession phase as well so I picked up the Muk Intense Repair Treatment, it smells so good I want to lick it! It's a problem. I destroyed my last shower cap so it was time to replace that as well.

And finally, scented candles! I grabbed these at a country market and while they aren't nearly as good as a lot of other high end candles on the market they are still enjoyable and I don't feel guilty when I burn them as they were fairly cheap.

What is your most loved purchase from Feb? Let me know down in the comments!

All Products were purchased by myself and I'm in no way affiliated with any of the companies mentioned unless otherwise stated. Links provided are for shopping examples only, I have personally purchased from some (not all) of these online stores but I highly recommend researching before buying.

    1. Totally agree!!! They are a bit of a splurge for me personally, I find it difficult to justify spending so much on just a candle but they really are so damn nice!
