Because why not?

John Frieda - Full Repair Perfect Ends Deep Infusion.

25 February 2014
After trying a sample of John Frieda's Full Repair Shampoo & Conditioner I was keen to grab some other items from the range, I opted to try out the Perfect Ends Deep Infusion.

This product claims: "Our breakthrough deep infusion, with Inchi Oil rich in omega-3, feels like it instantly absorbs in to worn-torn strands, instead of coating the surface. Weightlessly the look and feel of damage on lengths and ends to leave hair smooth, shiny and full of body. Helps prevent against breakage from heat styling."

This product doesn't claim to repair hair, which I appreciate because it really doesn't, it just gives the appearance and feel of healthier hair.

The consistency of this stuff is just like water, if you aren't careful making a mess is damn easy! It has a slightly fresh floral scent which I quite like but it's not so intense that it lingers all day long.

Directions are to apply to clean, wet hair and to use sparingly, one pump is recommended and can be adjusted for longer and thicker hair, I use about 6-8 pumps for my hair. It can be used on dry hair but I find it to be a little heavy when used that way so using less product is highly recommended.

It certainly does feel like it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any residue on the hair once it's dried, just leaves the hair feeling soft and silky and helps to tame frizzy, fluffy areas of the hair without actually weighing it down.

Pros:
  • Absorbs quickly.
  • Does what it says it will.
  • Leaves damaged hair soft and with a healthier appearance.

Cons:
  • Pretty small bottle (50ml) so quite easy to use up product quickly.
  • Has no restorative properties.

Conclusion:

This is what my hair usually looks like:

After application my hair seems to get it's shit together and helps my hair to look a little more 'normal' compared to it's usual fluffy, frizzy mess. Overall it's a nice product and I'm pleased with the results. I'd recommend it for anyone with moderate to severe damage and I'd also recommend playing around with the amount you apply as I found the more I used the better the results I achieved.

All Products were purchased by myself and I'm in no way affiliated with any of the companies mentioned unless otherwise stated. Links provided are for shopping examples only, I have personally purchased from some (not all) of these online stores but I highly recommend researching before buying.

  1. They should've made a spray for this, I would make a hell of a mess if I used this product! I'm already awful with toners lol.
