Because why not?

January 2014 Collective Haul.

3 February 2014
I bought a lot of shit last month. I like shopping.

Thermasoft Self Heating Therapy Socks and Gloves, Seche Vite Top Coat,  Layla Bubbly Effect Nail Polish, Seche Vite Prep, Gucci Nail Decals

CNE was my first stop this month, they had one specific item that made me super happy, Seche Vite. Amazeballs! Also grabbed a bubbly effect nail coat which was reviewed here, some Seche Vite nail prep fluid (which is just alcohol but mum wouldn't listen because they were on sale, also the brushes do make for easy application), Gucci nail decals and some new heat treatments for the hands and feet, like a paraffin treatment without the pain in the ass.

Schwarzkopf Nordic Blonde Toner and Live Colour Silver Toner.
Since I'm now a blonde I need to know my shit when it comes to toners, these are the ones available in my local Coles so super easy to access when I'm in a pinch.

Smith Street Market Body Wash and Lotion Duo.
Coles fail product. If you would like to see the fail click this.

Ulta3 Fan Nails.
Coles winning product; 3 polishes, a nail file, and manicure guides for $1.

Kerastase Resistance Fibre Architect and Tangle Teezer Salon Elite.
Hair saviors from Heading Out.

More bras, I had a lot of bravery this month.

Sleepers, because I somehow managed to loose one and sleeping in studs hurts my face.

I looooove these earrings, so damn pretty.

Giorgio Armani Designer Lift Foundation.
Holy Grail foundation.

Sally Hansen polishes: Gen Crush in Big Money, Fuzzy Coat in Wool Lite, Sugar Coats in Razzleberry and Cotton Candies.

I'm fighting the urge to buy more textured polishes at the moment, the glitter ones are just to die for, the rest are pretty ugly to be honest.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration  Rinse Off Treatment, Organix Extra Penetrating Renewing Moroccan Oil and John Frieda Full Repair Deep Infusion.
I'm on a hair repair kick because it's necessary if I want to keep my waist length locks... (quick update, I cut my waist length locks, they are now boob length but looking much thicker and healthier)

Schwarzkopf Extra Care Ultimate Repair Shampoo, Conditioner and Mousse Treatment.
Schwarzkopf Extra Care Marrakesh Oil & Coconut Shampoo, Conditioner and Mousse Treatment.
These two trios were on sale for $10 at CW, I'm not so sure about the mousse style treatment but I wanted to try out the S&C's so it made sense to go with the sets than buy them separately.

Sun Sea Spot Shampoo & Conditioner.
I'll be interested to see how these go, meant to be good for protecting during swimming and from the sun and all those outside-the-safety-of-your-house nasties but to be perfectly honest, I don't expect a lot.

Diggers Acetone.
Diggers 100% Isopropyl Alcohol, I love this stuff!
When I'm buying acetone or need 100% alcohol for sanitising things I go to a hardware store because it's cheap and easy to find. Go to a chemist for acetone and you'll pay $10 for about 200ml, 100% alcohol is even harder to find and way more expensive, buying it at a pro makeup store is absurd.

Burberry Perfume miniatures just because.

A couple of Zpalettes, again just because.

Empty palette for this.

Daiso brush cleaner, sweat patch things because I can't wear long sleeved anything without anxiety, lashes and tweezers.
Daiso stuff because I have a problem, don't judge me.

Gloss hair ties and Hollywood Bra Clip.
I have a small obsession with these elastic hair bands so of course, I had to buy more. The bra clip is a little weird but I needed it for a dress I planned to wear to a wedding coming up soon, turns out it's gonna be around 40 degrees so I'm not going to be able to wear the dress anyway. I do have a pretty back up though!

Kryolan Body Illustrator Alcohol Paints, just got the primary colours.

Revlon Just Bitten in 055 Adore, Rimmel Lipsticks: Lasting finish in 012 Guest list, Moisture Renew in 210 Fancy, By Kate in 112 and Lasting Finish in 088 Metallic Lustre.

Revlon Age Defying Concealer in 03 medium and Sinful Colours Polishes in Scene Stealer, Gemtastic and Call You Later.

Kmart had a massive sale on their makeup to make way for new stock, by the time I managed to get there the shelves had been decimated! The nail polishes were the firt things I picked up, never tried Sinful Colours before but at $2 a piece I thought it was a good time to start.

The concealer was an umm and ahh pick, I didn't know if it would be right for me, there were no testers and this was the only one that didn't have it's seal broken, I figured if it's not right for me it can always go in my kit. Turns out it's an awesome concealer and only slightly not right on the colour, I'll continue to play with it until I decide if it's forever home will be with me or in the kit.

And lipsticks, I spent about 20 minutes searching for lipsticks that hadn't been opened, I ended up with more pinks which God knows I don't friggin' need but I was pleased with the darker shades that I got, after depotting my lipsticks I can see where I'm lacking colours in my kit. Must Fill Holes!
Oh and as for the Balm Stain.. If they had the whole collection I would have grabbed one of each, alas only a strange orange based brown was left, since it was sealed I took it. Believe the hype, they are awesome.

And finally, my last purchase of the month was Manic Panic's Ultra Violet Semi-Permanent Hair Colour. Now I can play with hair toners every day of the week if I please and in the future maybe a pretty pastel purple.

Please tell me you didn't buy as much crap as me last month, I was out of control but I take solace in the fact that I know a few ladies who are on very big spending bans at the moment so everything is being balanced out in the world of beauty shopping.

All Products were purchased by myself and I'm in no way affiliated with any of the companies mentioned unless otherwise stated. Links provided are for shopping examples only, I have personally purchased from some (not all) of these online stores but I highly recommend researching before buying.
