Because why not?

Saturday Sample.

24 August 2013
So I'm back with another Saturday Sample, I've been trying to finish off almost empty stuff recently so samples have been put to the wayside but I've been meaning to try today's sample for a long time so without further ado.. (Warning.. If you don't like feet you might prefer to avoid this, no pictures but still might be a bit much for you)

Eulactol Heel Balm Gold is marketed as a treatment for rough cracked and dry skin, primarily for the feet. What this tells me is that this stuff has got some serious moisturising properties going on.

Now my feet aren't as bad as what is shown in the pictures on the packaging but I do have dyshidrotic eczema which only affects the hands and feet. My hands are ok, I've never had a big issue with them but my feet can be unsightly at certain times of the year and it's bloody embarrassing! I pray for a miracle cream that will fix all my woes but the eczema prevails.

This is a thick white cream that, to me, smells like sunscreen. It is said to work in seven days with visible results after just 3, be non greasy, is dermatological tested, fragrance free, hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.

Now I only got 2 applications out of my sachet but I'm confident I can tell you a few truths at least.

  1. It isn't greasy but I sure as hell wouldn't recommend putting a pair of heels or strappy shoes on straight after application. Pop it on before bed or a couple of hours before wearing shoes that could prove to be a health hazard. You've been warned!
  2. I felt results the day after using it. My feet were so damn soft. They aren't usually hard and yuck but they aren't usually as soft as they were after using this and I apply cream to my feet every single day.
  3. After just 2 uses I can see a difference, usually I have flaky skin on my heels due to my eczema and while I still have a little bit it certainly has improved!

So if you have dry feet, go pop some shoes on and head down to the shops for a tube of this. I have approximately 5 bottles and tubes of creams aimed at treating eczema and while they are ok and I'll eventually use them up I'm still going to buy a tube of Eluactol Heel Balm Gold because it's damn good stuff. I know it won't clear my eczema but it helps with the unsightly effects and if it can help with that it can fix those feet that are in dire need of assistance. If you ask me, feet are ugly enough on their own without being dry, flaky and cracked. Help them! They need it!

Do you have feet issues? Have you ever tried Eulactol Heel Balm? What are your thoughts??

All Products were purchased by myself and I'm in no way affiliated with any of the companies mentioned unless otherwise stated. Links provided are for shopping examples only, I have personally purchased from some (not all) of these online stores but I highly recommend researching before buying.
